Aspen Animal Hospital welcomes you to our website!
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" - Anatole France
Aspen Animal Hospital in Aspen, Colorado is the oldest provider of companion animal veterinary services in the Aspen area, established in 1960. In 1991, Dr. Scott Dolginow purchased the practice from the original owner. From that time to present, Dr. Dolginow has created an environment that provides specialized care based on each person and their pet's specific needs. We have a dedicated philosophy of caring for patients regardless of financial constraints. Many options are available for animals without owners or owners on limited budgets so no animal is denied care. We work closely with the Aspen Animal Shelter (a no-kill shelter), C.A.R.E. (Colorado Animal Rescue), Lucky Day Animal Rescue among others.
Our primary goal is to provide the finest veterinary services and products for our clients and to do this in a calm, friendly, professional and efficient manner. This unique philosophy is combined with a certified and specialized staff to provide top quality care for your pets. We are supported by five certified veterinary technicians, four veterinarians, several veterinary specialists as well as seasonal veterinary technicians, veterinary interns, high school volunteers, and even middle school students who weekly come by to be mentored by one of our doctors, enriching their experience as well as ours. And lastly, but no less important, is the administrative staff of five, which is the backbone of any hospital and your first contact with us and the services we provide.
The success of any animal hospital is the vision, focus, passion and commitment to excellence of its owner and staff. It emanates from a genuine feeling about animals, people, customer service and style. The very nature of this business is individual attention to each patient and client. Excellence can be found in the sum total of attention to detail.
